  • Do not drink liquids that contain caffeine, carbonated, or large amounts of sugar as they make you lose even larger amounts of sweat. It is advisable also to avoid very cold beverages as they can cause stomach pain.
  • Prefer light and small meals, with an emphasis on fruits and vegetables while minimizing the fat. Drink plenty of fluids (water and fruit juices). If sweating is intense, the additional intake of salt is recommended to keep the level of fluids in the body.
  • Prefer light, comfortable and light-colored clothing to facilitate the body ventilation and the evaporation of sweat. Wear a hat or another head cover made of natural materials, to allow ventilation of the head.
  • Also, it is recommended to use black or dark glasses to protect your eyes from the intense reflection of the sun.
